The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will present the annual Zoom into Engineering & Science on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Engineers and scientists from across the city will be on hand to help children with hands-on activities; this year's focus is on careers in engineering. There will be robots, solar energy cookies and exhibits, demonstrations on using liquid nitrogen to make ice cream, and more. All activities will be fun, kid friendly and designed to spark interest in the scientific fields of science and engineering. Participation is free with Museum admission.
